The US premiere of Žibuoklė Martinaitytė’s complete “In Search of Lost Beauty…” took place in Fall 2019. This video shows the “Inhabited Silences” section for the first time online. The hauntingly immersive piece is composed for piano, violin, cello, electronic soundtrack, and synchronized video projections. Starkland’s CD is here:
