Description
Translating the main theme song (片頭曲) "You're the Best in the World" (世間始終你好) from the Legend of the Condor Heroes III (1983) (射鵰英雄傳之華山論劍) into English.
Original Cantonese song by Roman Tam (羅文) and Jenny Tseng (甄妮).
The 1983 series was made by TVB based on the Legend of the Condor Heroes (射鵰英雄傳) novel by Jin Yong (金庸), who is also referred to as Louis Cha in English.
The 1983 TVB series is considered a classic and is still the most popular adaptation of the story as it features the memorable performance of Barbara Yung (翁美玲) as Huang Rong (黄蓉). She's still considered the best actress to have portrayed Huang Rong to this day. She gave such energy and enthusiasm to the role. She tragically died though in 1985 whilst still at the peak of her career. Then there's Felix Wong (黃日華) as Guo Jing (郭靖) and Michael Miu (苗僑偉) as Yang Kang (杨康). Of all the actors that have played Guo Jing, no one quite has the heroic feel and stature of Felix Wong. Also no one has quite had the charm of Michael Miu in the role of Yang Kang. These were timeless acting and performances. Sharon Yeung (楊盼盼) played Mu Nianci (穆念慈) and had good on screen chemistry with Michael Miu. Adaptations following the 1983 series didn't really have the chemistry that Barbara, Felix, Michael, and Sharon had.
The novel, Legend of the Condor Heroes, is pretty popular in China and worldwide. It has been translated into many languages including English. For those interested, I highly recommend reading the fan adaptation of the novel in English is available at:

The lyrics for this song is pretty simple but I didn't do a literal translation word by word as it sounded funny in places. Instead I translated the song from how it would best fit with the English language. So enjoy.
I'm also happy to take any wuxia or TVB song translation requests in the comments section.
