2025 Lunar New Year Celebration at Darien Library, Connecticut.
A classical Chinese dance. The music uses traditional instruments including Chinese zither and flute along with gentle rippling water sounds. The movements are graceful and expressive showcasing traditional Chinese dance techniques using hand fans as props. This piece is dedicated to the beauty of West Lake, a world heritage site, and a globally renowned attraction in Hangzhou, China which has been known for its natural beauty and cultural significance over thousands of years.
