הזוי – רצועת עזה , חודש לפני ההתנתקות. שעה וחצי של נסיעה הזויה בתוך תוכי גוש קטיף – המצלמות של דרור ( שגר בקמבודיה ) וארז ( שגר בקנדה ) חושפות את האמת המרה של המציאות בשטח.

המצלמה , הממוקמת על המושב שליד הנהג מספקת מבט פנוראמי על היישובים הישראלים החיים לצד התושבים הפלסטיניים שבועות ספורים לפני שהוחרבו.

מאות צילומי סטילס ( דרור מרקוס ) השזורים בצילומי הוידאו ( ארז נרקיס ציץ-ינוב ) מנציחים מציאות צינית ובועטת בכל אחד מהצופים , כפי שלא מצאה ביטוי באלפי שעות השידור סביב מפעל ההתיישבות הישראלי ברצועה. בליווי מוסיקה מקורית מדהימה ( בן יורבי ).

הזוי – נולד מביקור אישי ברצועה , רגע לפני , יולי 2005 – 12 שעות של נהיגה מטורפת בתוך 20 מהיישובים הישראלים , כשלאיש עדיין לא היה ברור אם ההתנתקות אכן תתרחש.

זהו מבט אמיץ , ישראלי , ציני , פרדוכסלי , עגום , המעורר תהיות עמוקות על מהות המפעל האדיר והיקר שבנינו שם ונטשנו , והמחיר שנדרשנו ואנו עדיין נדרשים לשלם עבור ההרפתקה הכל כך ישראלית הזו.

לאחר 7.10.2023 – מתחדדים עוד יותר סימני השאלה הכואבים לכל אחת ואחד מאיתנו , שמעורר הסרט.
