La Verzaschina is a traditional love song from the Italian speaking portion of the Swiss Alps. In it, a young man asked his love to come back up to the high Verzasca Valley. She is beautiful like the alpine flower he will give her as a symbol of his love: the blue Forget-Me-Not. Ettore Buzzini, whose father is from that region known as Ticino, and whose mother is from East Tennessee, sings this traditional Swiss Italian love song with his Bluegrass Music instrumentation.
