Audio from CD source, the original 78rpm single was issued on Bluebird B-11230 - Chattanooga Choo Choo (Mack Gordon-Harry Warren) by Glenn Miller & his Orchestra, vocal by Tex Beneke and The Four Modernaires, recorded in Hollywood May 7, 1941.

Nine weeks at #1 on the Billboard chart for this huge Miller hit, and the first million-selling recording to be ‘officially’ recognized with the awarding of a Gold Record. The movie featured an extended version of the song which also showed off the talents of the Nicholas Brothers and Dorothy Dandridge.
