The original 45rpm single was issued on RCA Victor 47-8120 - Days Of Wine And Roses (Johnny Mercer-Henry Mancini) by Henry Mancini, his Orchestra & Chorus. This second consecutive Mancini-Mercer Oscar winner (after “Moon River” the year before) was the theme for the Blake Edwards-directed drama about alcoholism which had originally been presented as a 1958 “Playhouse 90” TV presentation starring Cliff Robertson and Piper Laurie.
