A song written by Joni Mitchell, who did not perform at the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival but was inspired by an account of the event from boyfriend Graham Nash. The Crosby Stills & Nash version of “Woodstock” ( https://youtu.be/UgFx77wP7p0 ) had been a popular hit one year before the U.S. appearance of this UK import by the Ian Matthews group.
