Description
This song, along with Rosin the Bow, the Jug of Punch and Johnson's Motor Car, are all taken from the Carnegie Hall record by the Clancys, and will be followed by covers of the remaining songs from that record.
After that, I'll move on to the their next record, and the songs from that, before giving the Makem & Clancys a break!
It's rekindling a lot of old memories though. Many of these songs I won't have sung for decades, and none accompanied by guitar, so that every day is a school day so to speak, picking out chords and then doing a bit of practice.
That's a major part of what this exercise is all about.
