Commands are used in my Minecraft word - I do this to ensure that I can be creative and not get burned out! I used to play on survival and spend lots of time collecting resources, but because I enjoy building and sharing my joy/creativity with others, it is not uncommon for me to use commands to get materials rather than spend my time mining. I won't do the same in any other let's-plays or if I join multiplayer servers.
