"A New Harbor" marks a turning point in our sea shanty story.

After years at sea together, our sailors have found that a newcomer is joining their crew. But it is one who can’t yet sail. She’s carrying their first child, and though her heart will always beat with the tide, she’s chosen to step ashore to raise a family in safety. While he keeps sailing to support them, with a compass now set to the thought of her waiting in that quiet harbor.

This song is both a farewell and a promise — to the life shared on deck, and to the life they’re about to build. But it’s also a lullaby, written for the child who’s not yet here. Its verses carry the rhythm of a rocking ship, the melody swaying like gentle waves, and the hope that their voices will still reach their child, whether they're next to the cradle or from across the sea.
