Description

Kumarji had the ability to compose multiple bandishes in ragas, bringing out different emotions, aspects and facets to the raga. In Raga Durga as well, where with "Amona Re" he brought out a humble resolve, in "Anand Jharaayo Ri" he brings out bliss and pleasure, brought out by the beautiful scenes of nature harkened by the coming of the Sharad Ritu, going towards the Hemant Ritu. The bandish says - "Bliss is overflowing, as it inflames the mind and makes it enraptured in pleasure. The evening comes with a clear face, and I don't know how to put this feeling of bliss in words."
