I was sitting in my sand box out in back
When some ants decided that they'd attack.
They crawled up my leg, and under my jeans:
I did the craziest dance you've ever seen.
I did the 'I've Got Ants In My Pants' Dance,
I jumped up and down and I rolled on the ground.
I slapped at my knees and I said,
"Won’t you please Get these ants out of my pants?'

Having a picnic down by the lake
I stepped in some mud—that was a mistake.
Because, first foot one, and then foot two
Got stuck in some mud, and I was stuck like glue.
I did the 'I Cant Move, Boogaloo'.
I leaned to my left, and I leaned to my right.
I was up to my knees and I said,
"Wont you please Tell me what to do, this mud is like glue.?"

At the swimming pool with my friends;
We all decided that we'd jump in,
But we forgot that it was the deep end,
And none of us knew how to swim.

We did the 'Up To Our Chin, Save Yourself Swim.'
We kicked and we splashed again and again.
I said to my friends,
"The next time we jump in,
Let's make sure that it's the shallow end."

Down by the creek are rocks in the sand,
Where the snakes like to go to get a suntan.
When I went fishing at my fishing hole,
One of those snakes started licking my toe.

I did the 00000h, 'There's A Snake, Shimmy and Shake.'
I shook my left foot, and then my right.
I said to that snake, "Dont make a mistake.
Please let go of my big toe."
Last Saturday night at our family time,
I thought my mom and dad had lost their minds.
They brought out some records from the good old days.
They started dancing in the strangest way.

They said, 'Come on, let's Twist. You move it like this.
First you twist high, and then you twist low."
gave it a chance, I almost lost my pants.
But I think the Twist is a very good dance.

I went canoeing in an African stream
Near the Jungle River where the Crocodile's king.
As I paddled to the shore,
I got quite a shock.
Waiting for me were five hungry Crocs.
I did the 'Crocodile Rock' right there on the dock.
I acted just like I was one of them.
I heard one croc say, "Let's let him get away.
I'd like some meat, but he's too crazy to eat."
Throwing my football out in the front yard.
Running barefoot and playing hard.
One of my friends tossed the ball and said,
"Catch." And I ran right through a sticker patch.
I did the /Couldn't Stop; Sticker Patch Hop:
I hopped on my left foot, and then on my right.
You can't make touchdowns if you're hopping around.
Stickers in your feet are not neat.

Now my teacher says that our class likes to squirm.
She calls us her wiggle worms.
Oh. we love to wiggle, and we know it's true.
She lets us do this dance, and I'll teach it to you

You do the 'Twist and Turn, Wiggle Worm Squirm'.
You act -just like you were a big earthworm.
It's fun to pretend. We'll have to do it again,
But this dancing song has come to an end.
