Artist's Note: Sorry I couldn't put together a fancy AMV lyric video for this one, was a bit short on time.
I've had a demo for this song sitting around for a while, but I tried writing a parody song to go up (since today's April Fools) but it didn't turn out the way I wanted, so I ended up going back to the demo for this song. I managed to get this done in less than a week, which is very unusual, but it was really fun to work on. Another pretty distinct song here. I usually tend to think of what vibe I want a song to have and that guides my work. I was planning to push off writing this, but since it's the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon Anime, I figured I could put this up today for y'all. Hope you enjoy!! I had a great time with this one!
It's crazy to me that Pokemon has been on TV for 25 years now. That's a whole 27 months longer than I've been alive. Pokemon has been a part of my life since childhood, and now it's even the biggest contributing factor to what is basically my career right now as I get close to graduating college. I remember watching Advanced and Diamond & Pearl on TV as a kid... so wild to think that it's still going strong. Very grateful for the experiences I've had and the people I've met through my love of Pokemon.
Anyway, more original Pokemon songs will come eventually. It's the start of a new anime season, so look out for some SHIELD HERO ACTION (and possibly others) very soon!!
