In this video, Nathan discusses the Atlas Sound Z4 4-zone sound masking system, a versatile solution for speech privacy, background music, and paging. This all-in-one device offers four zones with 120 watts of power (30 watts per zone) at 70 volts, making it ideal for indirect field sound masking in spaces up to 7,000 square feet. It also supports direct masking and multiple configuration modes to suit various applications.

The Z4 can be installed in-wall, surface-mounted, or rack-mounted (with an optional kit). Once installed, all hardware and wiring are securely located behind the front panel for a clean, tamper-resistant appearance. A front-panel display allows for programming and control, eliminating the need for software during day-to-day use.

Pre-configured sound masking filter presets are included, with the option to upload custom configurations via a front-panel USB port. Integrated noise generators offer pink and white noise options for flexible zone management. Additional features include Bluetooth streaming, a 3.5 mm input for background music, mic and line inputs for paging, and independent EQ and volume controls for each zone.

The Speech Privacy Enhancement mode raises the sound masking level during sensitive meetings for added privacy. It can be activated through an app or a hardwired switch. An optional wireless sign is also available to serve as a visual indicator, notifying attendees when the mode is active. Additional features include automatic muting for paging, independent setup controls for each zone, and an intuitive design for easy operation.
