Description
There She Goes (also known as There She Goes (A Little Heartache) or There She Goes (ALH)) is the title of track #9 on Babyshambles' second album, Shotter's Nation, with the track credited to Doherty. The song is one of the oldest to be released on the album, and had been recorded a few times before its release 2007, usually by Doherty acoustically. It was also recorded by Babyshambles once before the Shotter's Nation version, for their Doghouse session; a collection of demos in preparation for their second album.
Some of Doherty's acoustic versions are prefered by fans over the Shotter's Nation version, due to their slowed down tempo. When a photograph of what appeared to be a tracklisting for Doherty's solo album leaked in January 2006 (after a New Year's Eve guerrilla gig), There She Goes was listed as Track #10. When Doherty's debut solo album, Grace/Wastelands was eventually released in 2009, however, the track did not feature.
The song's bassline is reminiscent of that of The Cure's 'Lovecats'
