1 1/2 Cup Ripe bananas sliced (3 medium bananas 370g total skin on)
1/4 Cup | 50g Soft Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup | 50g White Sugar
1/2 Cup | 115g unsalted Butter, melted
2 Large Eggs, room temperature 55-64g recommended
1 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup | 125g Greek / Plain Yogurt
1 1/2 Cup | 187g All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon | 6g Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon powder (optional)
3/4 Cup | 140g mini chocolate chips ( reserve 1/4 of it for topping)

π Mash Ripe Bananas in a bowl. It's recommended to weigh all your ingredients in grams using a Kitchen weighing scale for a perfect result.
π Add the Brown and White Sugars. Melt Butter, allow to cool and add it. Add the Eggs and Vanilla Essence. Mix well. Using an electric beater helps in mixing faster but a whisk also does the work.
π Add the Greek Yogurt and mix.
Β Β Β Β Β If you don't have Yogurt, you can use 1/4 Cup Milk and 1/2 Tablespoon White Vinegar instead. Do not skip the Vinegar as Baking Soda relies upon an acid to work with.
Β Β Β Β Β Greek Yogurt works well in this recipe but Plain Yogurt also can be used. Ensure it's not sour and not very liquidy. Hung Curd also is a great alternative.
π Place a Sieve on top and Sift together the All Purpose Flour, Baking Soda, Salt and Cinnamon powder in two batches. Fold the dry ingredients Gently into the wet ingredients.
π Fold in the Chocolate chips. Reserve some for topping.
π Bake @180C in a Preheated Oven for 45-50mins in a 9 inch loaf pan. Grease and Line the pan with parchment paper with long edges. Baking time will vary based on the tin size or shape used.Β Allow to cool in the pan for 15-20 mins
For Eggless
For Eggless, Use 1Β teaspoonΒ Baking powder and Β½Β teaspoonΒ Baking Soda instead of the 1 teaspoon Baking Soda and add 4-5 Tablespoon of Milk. Pls note that Baking time might be less if eggless.
