But “What is Justice?” slapped so hard we had no problem running it back. That intro riff alone had us thinking Van Halen meets Judas Priest—but still, all Band-Maid. The video? Minimal, gritty, and totally on-brand with that black cave aesthetic. And let’s talk MISA’s bass work—come on! We’re obsessed. This track is a heavy-hitting, tightly composed beast of a theme song, and it’s unreal that it’s tied to anime. Respect to Band-Maid for honoring the old-school metal sound without ever feeling like a copy. They just get it.
