The Bee Gees ending their "One Night Only" world tour in style with a spectacular performance at Stadium Australia in Sydney, Australia. The concert took place on May 27, 1999 and was the first music event to be held in the newly built arena. The Bee Gees released their last live album only a year earlier in 1998. The show took place in November 1997 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which resulted in the "One Night Only" world tour. The response of the live CD encouraged the Bee Gees to go on tour again, but it turned out to be not so easy. The tour was the first of its kind and was characterized by the fact that for the first time only one concert per continent was played.
