Believe Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms was published in 1808 in Moore's collection, Irish Melodies. Moore composed and sang this to his wife, Elizabeth, outside her bedroom window to restore her confidence, and assure her of his unwavering love, in spite of the effects of small pox on her beautiful face. What a poet! This is a tribute to Claire Rued my wife since 25 AUG 1979. She went to her LORD in April 2022.
