Notes:

It's a bit of a stretch to call this a "country" song, despite Max McNown's ascending stature in the Nashville establishment - but it's a good song nonetheless.

Genre descriptions aside, it's straightforward and simple enough to play, especially on ukulele, where it's flat-out easy. There isn't a lot say about it in terms of pointers, except that there are a number of places when the band drops out under the vocal, which we notate as white space in the moving chart's ruler line (rather than purple of green shading).

Those sections are fairly obvious, but there are also a few similar places where the vocal isn't entirely isolated, but the band underneath drops down to a quiet energy level. In these places, you want to adjust your playing to something similarly understated. We'll leave it up to you to handle these as you see fit, but if you think of making the vocal shine, you'll be on the right path!
