Thank you for all the positive feedback on my first, and until now, only BÖC video, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." That's going to be a tough act to follow, and this probably won't
be it ... but we'll see. "Burnin' for You" was my big favorite for 1981, bringing the band squarely into the 80's decade. There's an introduction piece to this song ... you can skip it if you want, but I think you'd rather not. It's very related to the theme and title of the song, and one hell of decent clip. See if you can recall the film it comes from.
This song appeared on the group's album, Fire Of Unknown Origin. The single was released in July 1981. It peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart and spent three weeks in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September and October 1981. It peaked at #34 on Cash Box on October 17, 1981.
