Frank Sinatra was an American singer, actor, director and producer. Sinatra began his musical career in the swing era as a boy singer with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist from early mid - 1940s after being signed by Columbia Records in 1943.
Sinatra is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. He was honoured at the Kennedy Center Honors in 1983 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Ronald Reagan in 1985 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 1997. Sinatra was also the recipient of eleven Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. One of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century.
'Blue Skies' is a popular song written by Irving Berlin in 1926. The song was composed as a last-minute addition to the Rodgers and Hart musical "Betsy".
