Charted at #33 on Billboard Hot 100 in April 1975, and #5 on Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. B-side of "Dick and Jane", which was listed in Billboard as a 2-sided hit. Although "Dick and Jane" was intended as the A-side, it appears that this one was the most popular. "Beer Barrel Polka" had been a hit in 1939 for the Andrews Sisters, Will Glahé and Eddie DeLange.
