I enjoy filming with the canon c200 and yes it still holds up very nicely in 2022. Of course, it all depends on what your needs are, but for this its quite pleasant.
This was a very important piece for Alexa so I wanted to make sure it looked the best we could with what we had to work with.

However, when Alexa presented the beach location to me I immediately was turned off by it lol. I’m not a fan of shooting on the sunny beaches of South Florida because I’ve lived by these beaches most of my life. Its hard getting a new perspective on it when you see it all the time I think. So we kept an eye on the weather waiting a couple of weeks for a cloudy day. I preferred Iceland but we had dinner plans (ha).
Day 1 of shooting the weather said ‘very cloudy’. It wasn’t. Very sunny, yes. We left the beach after two hours of shooting and I knew it wasn’t the look I wanted. it was just too "pretty" and not the mood I was going for. We decided to try again the next day this time earlier and good thing we did!! We shot everything in 2 hours with zero budget or crew, which is impressive but nothing I enjoy bragging about because filming on the beach with heavy gear and sand blowing against your face and equipment is a pain in the *peach emoji*.
Anyway, I love all of it ❤️ good location idea, Alexa;)
