This song is a double edge sword, anyone who has ever uttered the phrase, “everything is gonna be fine,” knows it has two meanings. Will it be fine? Are the good times coming? Or is this just a reassuring comfort we tell ourselves to get through one more day? I guess that’s for you to decide.

Playing the role of Possum in How To Make Gravy has been one of the great joys of my life. While it is me singing, I channel this song through the character and the light he brought to a personally dark year for me. Stepping outside myself to sing was so liberating, I hope I can carry that freedom with me. And to test my acting chops opposite the likes of Hugo Weaving and sing an original song by my long time hero Meg Washington is something I will cherish forever. I truly hope you love the film.
