Reefer Songs. Cab Calloway and his Orchestra 1932 Classics 537. (Razaf-Robinson) This is a showpiece for the base player, in this case, Al Morgan. Cabell "Cab" Calloway III (December 25, 1907 -- November 18, 1994) was an American jazz singer and bandleader.
The 1933 film, International House featured Calloway performing his classic song, "Reefer Man," a tune about a man who favors marijuana cigarettes. Th song was written by Eussel J. Robinson and Razaf.
