Here is Cantiga #166 (Como póden per sas culpas) from Cantigas de Santa Maria, a collection of 420 poems with musical notation dedicated to the virgin Mary during the reign of Alfonso X of Castile El Sabio (1221-1284). One with a slightly medical theme. A man was crippled with twisted limbs and prayed that if he was cured he would bring some wax to Salas every year. Mary cured him and he walked to Salas pain free.
