This is the bass tab for my cover of Carry on my Wayward Son. It is a note for note transcription of the original bass track.
All Drums, Guitars, Bass, Keys, and Vocals by Abraham Myers (Me).
I also mixed and produced everything.
I started by separating the original Carry on my Wayward Son track into drums/bass/guitar/vocal. I then painstakingly transcribed all the parts by ear, note for note and then replayed them. I then went into the recording booth and sang the song.

Also a special shout out to Kerry Livgren for writing this beautiful song.

Carry on my Wayward Son was written by Kerry Livgren and was first recorded by the band Kansas, appearing on their fourth studio album Leftoverture.

The Equipment used in this recording is as follows:

Slate ML1 Microphone
The software is Cubase Pro.
The audio interface is an Axe IO
The Bass sound was created with a Sire V7, straight into the Axe.
The Guitars are an Alvarez Jumbo six string acoustic, a Fender Jazzmaster Electric and a Les Paul, plugged straight into the Axe.
All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1
Ozone 9 was used for mastering.
The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
