🎹 A quick note about this performance:
This video is a stitched performance, created from my best takes to represent the piece as faithfully as possible to how I imagine it.
With the growing conversation around authenticity in piano performances, I want to be transparent:
1. The video is stitched from three different parts.
2. The audio has been lightly edited to emphasize certain dynamics and phrasing.

My goal is to share music in the way I truly hear and feel it.
I see myself first and foremost as a musician, and part of that is bringing my arrangements to life as close as possible to how I envision them in my head.

🎹 About "Catastrophes before the Calamity":
Man, this track is criminally underrated, I'm genuinely excited to shine a spotlight on it.
For this arrangement, I played around with a looser tempo, giving the performance a more human, expressive feel less rigid, more alive.

Also, this is the first video using the Garritan CFX Grand VST!
The dynamic control it offers is incredible, though I did notice a touch of white noise in the quieter velocity layers, which you might catch during the outro.

I'm really proud of this one, it’s one of my favorite arrangements so far.
