Chris Potter Lick - This is how he makes Arpeggios

Here's a video using a Chris Potter lick from all the things you are. In the video I take one part of a one bar lick and talk about how to play it on guitar and also about making more licks with the idea. Chris Potter is a probably one of the most influential saxophone players of the last 20 years.

The Part that I pick out is an arpeggio. The arpeggio can be viewed in a few different ways, it could be seen as a triad over a bass note: Em/A or as an Am9 or A9 arpeggio without a 3rd.

The examples I go over are on a II V I, but I guess I could make a lesson on applying this in a modal setting?
