“Ebenezer,” which means “Stone of Help,” is a reference to 1 Samuel 7:12: “Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Jeshanah, and named it Ebenezer; for he said, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us.’”

In this uncertain time in the world, it is important to have someone you turn to for help and comfort. Clara hopes that this song will be a tender reminder that God is our help in times of trouble, and He is there even when we wander, as the song says. His love, blessings, and mercy are limitless and He is worthy of all praise! When you feel lonely, scared, unsafe, or unworthy remember that God is waiting with open arms to remind you that you are his precious creation and you are truly loved.

Clara Mae is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade. She has 3 siblings. She loves to sing and has been performing the National Anthem since she was 3 years old! She recently had the great honor of singing for an awards ceremony honoring the U.S. military and is excited about other upcoming opportunities she has been given to sing this year.

Clara loves BMX racing, dance and acting, and was just cast as small Elsa in Frozen Jr., but singing has always been her first love. She works very hard to grow as a musician and thanks God for the music she gets to sing. She hopes to bring more light and love into the world through music. She partnered with a non-profit called Nurturing Nations who helps children in slavery and made a video singing Josh Groban’s “Thankful” with The Piano Gal to raise awareness for this very worthy cause.
