Description
The Unifics were formed by a bunch of Howard University students who, through a couple of name changes and group roster comings and goings, became the Unifics. The Washington, DC based group was managed and promoted by Guy Draper, who also wrote most of their songs early on. Court Of Love, zoomed to #2 on the Cash Box chart, week ending 11/16/68. Despite a killer live act and several promising follow up singles, the Unifics could never match their original, Court Of Love, success and by the early 1970's, had faded from view.
