"Crying" is a ballad written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson that was a hit for Orbison. In 1987, Kathryn Dawn Lang, KD Lang, a Canadian pop and country singer and Roy Orbison sang it as a duet; which later won a Grammy Award—Best Country Vocal Collaboration.

Roy Kelton Orbison was an American singer-songwriter, best known for his trademark sunglasses, distinctive, powerful voice, complex compositions, and dark emotional ballads. "Crying" is a complex and unique by composition, and is never outdated, and like many of Orbison's songs, it remains classic and is used in modern films.
