Hey everyone!
Here’s my drum cover of Get Lucky by Daft Punk — a funky, timeless track that’s just too good not to jam to. This song has such a clean and infectious groove, and I tried to capture that vibe on the drums as best I could.
A quick heads-up: in the second part of the song, where the beat picks up and the kick drum in the original version plays three hits instead of one (you'll hear it especially after the second verse), I decided to keep it simpler and stick with a single bass drum hit. Since the original groove seems to be digitally produced, I wanted to make sure the feel stayed solid and natural on an acoustic kit — plus I’m still working on building up that control!
