Description
We present John Dowland's Pavana «Lachrimae» (from «Seven Tears»), arranged for baroque consort: 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, bassoon, and harpischord (continuo).
The original piece has been transposed to C minor. The continuo part has been realised by using the lute version of the piece.
Tuning is 50-equal division of the octave, very close to Zarlino's 2/7-comma meantone.
