This music video was part of the Mobile Filmmaking module at the University of Kent. The entire video had to take the form of a single take and 'performers’ pretending to play the music in the audio track were not allowed.

This video focuses on domestic violence, a taboo topic in our society. We played with depth of field, as we wanted to create a sense of distortion to further push the point that an abusive relationship has a twisted view of love. We decided to split it into two parts as we wanted to show not just the physicality of an abusive relationship but also what happens mentally and emotionally to a person going through it. We used different rooms and the mobility of the camera to play on the different facets of abuse; verbal, physical and emotional. The female character submerges herself underwater during the final abusive scene. This, along with the use of slow motion, emphasizes the overwhelming abuse the female character experiences.
