EP 83 Iggy Pop - The Passenger
"The Passenger" is a song written by Iggy Pop and Ricky Gardiner that was recorded for Pop's "Lust for Life" album. It was originally released as the B-side of the album's only single "Success" although it was subsequently released as a single in it's own right in 1998, reaching number 22 in the UK charts. The bass player on the track is Tony Sales.

The song essentially is one riff with a variation all the way through. I started off following the original bass track exactly but in some places I didn't following the same order so the transcription is over three pages instead of two.
I used my Ibanez SR500 bass which went into a DI box and my Steinberg Interface with Reason as my DAW. I used compression to even out the response.
The video was shot using my Samsung A52 smartphone. The onscreen tab was created using Guitar Pro, Go PlayAlong4 and NCH Debut. I then added titles and edited the video together using DaVinci Resolve.
