Description
Lord of the Rings violin cover. "Evenstar" (Arwen's theme) from "One of the Dúnedain," from the soundtrack to The Two Towers by Howard Shore. Originally performed by Isabel Bayrakdarian and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Here arranged for ensemble composed of violins, violas, guitar, and bass (midi bass line not pictured).
"And Frodo when he saw her come glimmering in the evening, with stars on her brow and a sweet fragrance about her, was moved with great wonder, and he said to Gandalf: 'At last I understand why we have waited! This is the ending. Now not day only shall be beloved, but night too shall be beautiful and blessed and all its fear pass away!'" - from Chapter 5 of Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
*Note: Some of the parts (for example, the Viola 1 line in the opening) are played by more than one instrument in my recording, but were not able to be included as video files here due to the capacity of my computer.
