I was never a big fan Extreme until they released III Sides to Every Story. I learned every note from that record and it made me a huge fan of Nuno. After that I retro actively got into the previous two records and I also really enjoyed their dark grungy rock record Waiting For The Punchline.

This guitar solo definitely made the internet listen. I was a little late jumping on learning this solo but better late than never. Nuno is a master at creating audio illusions with his guitar playing. What you think he's doing always seems to be different than what he is actually doing. Usually I verify with live footage but there isn't any for this song. In the video it looks like he's speed picking the second half of the solo but I feel like he's using his economy picking technique.
