Description
Capricho Árabe, a serenade composed in 1889 by Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909).
Is dedicated to the Spanish composer Tomás Bretón. One of Tárrega’s most important pieces, it was inspired by Alhambrismo, an Arab-Andalusian style that emerged in mid-19th century Spain and influenced many composers including Isaac Albéniz, Ruperto Chapí, Joaquim Malats, and Tómás Bretón.
