Description
"That Old Feeling" written by Sammy Fain, and Lew Brown in 1937 for the movie, Vogues of 1938, was recorded for the first time by Frank Sinatra on August 11, 1947 with arranging and conducting by Axel Stordahl and featuring celesta and strings. Originally released as a 78 RPM single, it was later included in the 1956 Columbia LP, That Old Feeling. It can found on CD on Disc 6 of The Columbia Years 1943 - 1952 The Complete Recordings box set released in 1993 and on Portrait of Sinatra: Columbia Classics, a compilation album, released in 1997 on Sony. Sinatra was to record the song again on March 1, 1960 for his Capitol LP, Nice 'n' Easy with Nelson Riddle arranging and conducting. It doesn’t get any more romantic than this, folks.
