Description
A change of pace and genre for me, with this punk explosion and entree into pop culture of one Billy Idol. Generation X formed late in 1976 and by the middle of 1977 they had recorded their first single "Your generation" - a Top 40 hit in Britain. The band only recorded a few albums, before changing their punk sound to more of a hard rock feel, and Billy would emerge after Gen X as an 80's phenomenon - with a string of hit singles and albums.
