Teacher blows a whistle to start the fire drill. Succession of shots showing the girls getting hoses in operation. Several shots of the girls attaching the ladder to a school building and climbing up to save friends. Succession of shots showing girls sliding down from the third floor window in a canvas 'tunnel' held by several girls on the bottom end. Girls, helped by the nurse, get into the tunnel and slide down and out helped by their friends.
