Description
Hans Zimmer is a known fan of Ennio Morricone, so it might be more than just coincidence that the beautiful music from this slow-motion scene is so similar to 'Kerim' from Morricone's 'Secret of the Sahara'. Still, it's very effective, and this brief gem comes as some much-needed respite after a long and brutal battle, and score track. It serves as an introduction to Maxiumus, as we watch him lead the Roman empire to victory against their northern neighbours.
