Here is a song I created to help my 6th grade students study. I hope you enjoy.

It's how we warm the world
Seas will rise from high temperature
The greenhouse gases trap light and heat
In atmosphere right from the sun

The temperatures will rise
Trapped in atmosphere heat and light
Heat never gets out, just in
Can cause life to be dead, greenhouse effect

Without it the Earth would freeze
Like a wall hold in heat
But pollution adds gases to the sky
Trapping more of the heat temperatures rise

Greenhouse effect temperature rises
Man-made causes most the damage
People burning the fossil fuels
The greenhouse gases called CO2
Mining coal, oil, gas escapes
Cutting trees for our building
Increased population
And that is how we warm the world

It is a wicked and wild thing
Affecting life, environments
Killing algae in the world's oceans
People cannot believe what Earth becomes

We cannot afford to wait
Planting trees, recycling is the way
Riding buses, carpooling, less driving
These are ways to stop global warming
