You have to try this simple and flavourful recipe if you love Kimchi! For those of you who have never tried Kimchi, this is probably the best thing I've made with Kimchi and I can't wait for you to try it!

Here's how you make this recipe at home ☺️

Ingredients :
Green Onion - 1 Bunch
Garlic Cloves - 3 nos
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Cooked Rice - 1/4th Cup
Sugar - 1 Tbsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Soy Sauce - 1.5 Tbsp
Water - 1/4th Cup
Gochugaru - 1/3rd Cup

Process :
* Start by washing & cleaning the green onion thoroughly under running water
* Trim the ends & discard the yellow yellow springs from the green onion
* Cut tye green onion into half & pat dry them completely
* For the Chilli Paste - to a blender, add in the ginger, garlic, cooked boiled rice, water, salt, sugar & water - blend it into a smooth paste
* Transfer the paste to a bowl & add in the gochugaru along with the soy - combine to form a paste ( You can also choose to add a tablespoon of white vinegar for added sourness )
* Apply this paste thoroughly on the dried & clean green onion sprigs
* Transfer the kimchi to a clean, air-tight container & top it up with some sesame seeds
* Allow it to sit at room temperature for a day or two - give it a taste & check for the sourness as per your preference
* Once it’s fermented, place it in the refrigerator - It will be good for upto 4 weeks
* Have this as a side with your favourite dishes & Enjoy 🌶️
