The first training montage from Green Street 3: Never Back Down, our award winning score from James Nunn's film for Lionsgate. When the director first discussed the genre of music from the film, he wanted it to stand out so the brief was to combine the best elements of 'Drive' and 'Rocky III', considering 80s is flavour of the month. So, he shot his first training sequence completely in the style of Rocky, god rays and all. So, we went out for a complete pastiche of Vince DiCola's great 80s score, synth brass and all. It's been mentioned in a few reviews, winning best Action Score of 2013 and according to Denofgeek.com The Best DTV soundtrack they've ever heard.
