In its folk song concert on October 4, 2015 at the Kölner Philharmonie, the Cologne Male Voice Choir presented folk songs from Germany and Europe in sonorous arrangements put together especially for this concert.
"Greensleeves" is traditional English folk song that can be traced back to the 16th century. Legend has it that King Henry VIII. wrote it for Anne Boleyn - but historians say that this is highly unlikely. It remains very popular all over the world.
