San Juan Sounds is a radio station in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City that plays Reggaeton, Latin Hip-Hop, Merengue and Bachata.
The station is named after the city of San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, where Reggaetón music originated in the early 1990s before its mainstream success in the United States in the mid-2000s.
The station is hosted by Henry Santos in EFLC. A member of the Bachata group Aventura.
The station is sponsored by the Mas Fuego energy drink, and plays Spanish versions of Excelsior Extreme 9, The Horn Deodorant and Whiz Wireless commercials, making it one of two radio stations (alongside Vladivostok FM) to feature bilingual advertising. In the EFLC rendition, the station plays in a continuous loop and contains no commercials.
This is the Spanish Lords', Carmen Ortiz', Elizabeta Torres' and Luis Fernando Lopez's favorite radio station.
